What we offer

We offer three types of film, each designed for a different chapter of life. All of them made with the same warmth, care and craft.

Preserve what matters

Every family is different. Every story is unique. Choose the film that fits.

Your Memory

Life Story Film

Their memories and experiences shape who they became. A warm, unhurried conversation covering their whole life, from childhood and family to work, wisdom and everything in between. Woven through with old photographs, home videos, letters and keepsakes. The most intimate of gifts.

Your Legacy

Terminal Journey Film

Your voice

Story feature film

Some stories are too specific, too vivid, too important to get lost inside a broader conversation. A Story Feature Film captures one defining chapter — and tells it the way it deserves to be told.

What it is

A short-form documentary of approximately five minutes, focused on a single story, passion, relationship or achievement. Beautifully filmed, carefully edited, and made to last.

This is right for you if

A specific story worth capturing | A life’s work or career | Community milestones | A passion that defined them | Organisation anniversaries

Your memory

Life story film

A warm, unhurried conversation that moves through their whole life — from where they grew up to what they’ve learned along the way. The most intimate of gifts, and the one families reach for most.

What it is

A 30–60 minute personal documentary, interview-style and filmed in their home. Woven through with old photographs, home videos, letters and keepsakes — everything that brings a life into full colour.

This is right for you if

Milestone birthday | Anniversary gift | Health changes prompting action | Gift from adult children | Grandparent’s love story

Your legacy

Terminal Journey Film

When time is precious, the stories that matter most deserve to be kept. A Terminal Journey Film is made with the greatest care — honest, meaningful, and created for the people who will carry it forward.

What it is

A deeply personal film for families facing terminal illness. There is no script and no pressure — just a warm, unhurried conversation that lets them say what they want to say, in their own words, for the people they love most.

Not sure which film is right for you?

That’s what the first conversation is for. Tell us a little about your loved one and we’ll help you find the right fit.

Common Questions

Everything you need to know
That’s exactly what the first conversation is for — and there’s no obligation. We’ll talk about your loved one, what’s prompting you to do this now, and what you’d love them to say. From there, the right film usually becomes obvious. If you’re unsure, a Life Story Film is the most common starting point.
It’s completely natural to feel nervous before being on camera, but those nerves often fade quickly once the conversation starts. Remember, this is not a performance; I’m genuinely interested in your story, which turns the experience into a relaxed and friendly chat. Most people find that they forget the camera is even there!
Most filming sessions last between 3 and 4 hours, but I always work at a pace that feels comfortable for you. The conversation unfolds naturally, allowing us to capture your story authentically. The final edited film typically runs between 60 to 90 minutes.
Absolutely! We can weave in old photographs, letters, videos, and keepsakes throughout your film. These items tell a story of their own, and when combined with your voice, they transform into more than just mementos. These elements add context and depth, they enrich your narrative and bring your memories to life.
Yes. We work with families across New Zealand. Get in touch and we’ll talk through what’s possible for your location.
Every film comes two ways. A secure digital link so it can be watched on any device and shared easily with family near and far — and a beautifully presented gift box with a USB, so there’s something physical to hold, to keep, and to pass down. It’s designed to feel like the keepsake it is.
It’s one of the most meaningful gifts you can give — and one of the most common reasons families come to us. A life story film is something your whole family will watch together for generations. Most people tell us the response from their loved one was far greater than they expected.

It’s rarely too soon, and we’ll always try to make it work whatever the timing. If your loved one is well enough to have a conversation, we can film. We work gently, at whatever pace feels right, and we’ve supported families through some of life’s most tender moments. Please reach out — there’s no obligation, and no pressure.
